Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use ravinemedia.co or book videography or photography services with Ravine Media. Your written quote or agreement for a specific project controls if it says something different.

Licensed and insured

Ravine Media is a licensed business and carries general liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is available to venues and clients on request.

Quotes and pricing

• Prices shown on this site are starting prices. Your final price depends on the scope in your written quote.
• Travel within Southwest Florida is included in local rates; travel elsewhere is billed at cost.
• Every booking requires a 50% non-refundable deposit (see below). Other payment amounts and due dates are listed on your quote or invoice.

Booking, deposits and cancellations

• A 50% deposit is required to book. Your date is only reserved once the deposit is paid. We send a secure payment link (processed by Stripe) after you approve your quote.
• The deposit is non-refundable. It holds your date and covers planning and the other work we turn down to keep that date for you, so it is not refunded if you cancel, change your mind, don't show up, or can't be reached on the shoot day.
• The only exception: if Ravine Media cancels your shoot, we refund your deposit in full to the original payment method.
• The remaining balance is due as listed on your quote. Final files are delivered once the balance is paid.
• Weather and emergencies: if we call off a shoot because conditions are unsafe or because of an emergency on our side, that counts as Ravine Media cancelling, and your deposit is refunded unless you choose to move it to a new date with us.
• Rescheduling at your request depends on our availability and isn't guaranteed. Your deposit stays non-refundable either way.
• Billing questions: if something looks wrong with a charge, contact us first and we'll sort it out. Disputing a non-refundable deposit with your bank after agreeing to these terms doesn't cancel the booking terms you accepted.
• By paying the deposit you confirm you've read and agree to these terms. See also our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

First-shoot offer

Take 10% off your first shoot. Use the code when you request your quote and the discount comes off your first booked service. New clients only. One per new client, applies to the first booked service only, not redeemable for cash, and can't be combined with other promotions or a referral code unless we agree otherwise. Enter code RAVINE10 when you request your quote.

Referral program

• Anyone with a client account can apply. We approve partners at our discretion and can pause or end a partnership at any time.
• A partner's code gives a new client 10% off their first booked service (instead of, not in addition to, the first-shoot offer). Codes are saved for 30 days when someone opens a partner's link.
• Partners earn 15% of the final price of a referred client's booked service, after any discount, once the client has paid. No commission is owed on cancelled, refunded or unpaid bookings, on your own bookings, or on clients who were already working with us.
• We pay commission by Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or PayPal to the details in your account, usually within 14 days of the client's payment.
• Don't use spam, paid ads on our brand name, or misleading claims to promote your code. Partners are independent, not employees or agents of Ravine Media, and are responsible for their own taxes.

Deliverables and turnaround

• Deliverables (number of edits, lengths, formats and photos) are listed in your quote.
• Delivery times are good-faith estimates (for example, photos in about a week and videos in one to two weeks). They begin after the shoot and once all project materials are received, cover the first edited delivery, and your date is confirmed when you book. Priority (+25% of the editing fee), Express (from +50%) and Next-Day delivery are available for eligible projects.
• Revisions are included as described in your quote.
• Media is delivered through your client account. Please download and back up your files promptly; we keep them available for a reasonable time but don't guarantee permanent storage.

Usage and ownership

Once your project is paid in full, you may use the final deliverables for your personal or business purposes, including social media, your website and paid advertising. Ravine Media keeps the copyright in the work and may use it in our portfolio and marketing unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. Raw, unedited footage isn't included unless your quote says so.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for securing permission to shoot at your chosen locations and for any venue fees, and for having the rights to any music, logos or materials you ask us to include.

Text messages

When you send a request and give us your phone number, you agree that Ravine Media may text you about that request, your quote and your booking. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We don't send marketing texts without your permission and never sell or share your number or consent for others' marketing.

Client accounts

Keep your login details private. You're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that are misused.

Reviews

Reviews must reflect your genuine experience. We moderate reviews before they appear on this site to remove spam or abusive content, not to filter out honest feedback.

Information on this site

Prices, packages and delivery times on this site are starting points and estimates and may change; your written quote is what counts. Answers from the “Ask” box on this site are general information from our FAQ, not a quote or a promise.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Ravine Media's total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by weather, illness, venue restrictions or other events outside our control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
