Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated October 25, 2026
The short version: a 50% deposit reserves your date, and it's non-refundable unless Ravine Media cancels. Here's exactly how that works.
The deposit
- Every booking requires a deposit of 50% of your quoted price, paid securely through Stripe after you approve your quote.
- Your date is reserved only once the deposit is paid.
- Before paying, you confirm that you understand the deposit is non-refundable except as described below.
If you cancel
The deposit is not refunded if you cancel, change your mind, don't show up, or can't be reached on the shoot day. It covers the planning we've done and the other work we turned down to hold your date.
If we cancel
- If Ravine Media cancels your shoot for any reason, including unsafe weather or an emergency on our side, you get a full refund of your deposit.
- You can also choose to keep the deposit toward a new date with us instead.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method. Banks usually show them within 5–10 business days.
Rescheduling
If you need a different date, contact us as early as you can. Moving a booking depends on our availability and isn't guaranteed, and the deposit stays non-refundable.
The remaining balance
The other 50% is due as listed on your quote. Final edited files are delivered once your balance is paid.
